A Lutheran believes one is made right with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. He trusts in Jesus Christ alone for his eternal salvation and lives his life in loving service to God and his fellowman. The basis of the Lutheran faith is on the Bible alone.
God loves you and offers you His gift of heaven. "..I am come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10
Why do we experience so much pain and grief? We are created with a free will and we have chosen to disobey God. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
There is only one remedy for this separation. When Jesus died on the cross, He bridged the gap between God and man. "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the father but by Me." John 4:6
We receive Jesus into our lives through Baptism and ask Him to build faith within us. "He who believes and is Baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned." Mark 16:16
